To comprehensively promote the technological development of the water-saving irrigation industry and extend the upstream and downstream industrial chains, the Technical Exchange and Innovation Development Conference jointly hosted by the Hebei Provincial Water-saving Irrigation Equipment Industry Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Industry Technology Research Institute) and the Water-saving Irrigation Equipment Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Innovation Strategic Alliance), and undertaken by Hebei Runnong Water-saving Technology Co., Ltd., was grandly held in Yutian County, Tangshan City on July 30.

The conference was presided over by Lan Zhigang, Magistrate of Yutian County. The conference held three ceremonies in total, namely the Licensing Ceremony for the Industry Technology Research Institute, the Licensing Ceremony for the Innovation Strategic Alliance, and the Appointment Ceremony for the Expert Advisory Committee of the Water-saving Irrigation Industry.

As important components of technological output in Hebei’s water-saving irrigation industry, the Industry Technology Research Institute and the Innovation Strategic Alliance have, since their establishment, undertaken the glorious tasks of transforming scientific and technological achievements, driving industrial development, and sharing advanced resources. They have completed the implementation and transformation of multiple national and provincial-level technologies, formulated numerous national standards for the water-saving irrigation industry, and led and supported the water-saving irrigation industry to become an emerging pillar industry in the province.

This conference is not only a work summary of the Industry Technology Research Institute and the Innovation Strategic Alliance, but also a grand event that strengthens exchanges among peer enterprises, promotes win-win development of industry-university-research-application collaboration, and boosts the leapfrog development of Yutian’s water-saving irrigation industry.
